Policy Internship with Pro-Choice Missouri

10 Hours/Week for 16 Weeks between January and May 2023

Pro-Choice Missouri is hiring a Policy Intern for the 2023 Spring Semester. We are looking for students who are pissed about Missouri’s statewide ban on abortion care and ready for a hands on experience with the Missouri State Legislative Process. The Public Policy Intern will work in partnership with the Manager of Public Policy to track and analyze proposed legislation, draft testimony, and coordinate with coalition members throughout the 2023 Missouri legislative session. 

Pro-Choice Missouri Internships are compensated with a stipend totaling $2400 for the semester paid out in monthly installments. Students must have internet access, however a computer can be provided upon request. Internship includes minimum one trip to Jefferson City, expenses covered by PCM. 

Communications Internship with Pro-Choice Missouri

10 Hours/Week for 16 Weeks between January and May 2023

Pro-Choice Missouri is hiring a Communications Intern for the 2023 Spring Semester. We are looking for students who are pissed about Missouri’s statewide ban on abortion care and ready for a hands-on experience developing a digital communications and media strategy to help rebuild abortion access in Missouri. The Communications Intern will collaborate with the Communications Director to highlight  PCMO’s work throughout the 2023 legislative session. Along with learning communications tools and tactics, duties will include, but are not limited to: drafting email newsletter, creating content for social media channels, tracking relevant media.
