Responsibilities:

  • Working to develop and implement community organizing campaigns in various communities
  • Assist in planning and leading meetings and events for the St. Louis, Kansas City, Springfield and Columbia regions
  • Building and maintaining a list of pro-choice activists from across the state
  • Coordinating and staffing outreach activities and events
  • Tabling and petition signature gathering for NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri at events and in various communities
  • Educating others about threats to reproductive rights in Missouri
  • Working with staff to develop a plan to reach out to underrepresented communities and communities of color to engage individuals in the pro-choice movement in Missouri
  • 10-15 hours in and out of the NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri office
  • Other responsibilities as they arise

Qualifications:

  • Commitment to reproductive freedom and women’s right to choose
  • Enthusiasm for working in diverse communities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Applicants should be prepared to work with other interns and staff on a regular basis

This is an unpaid internship. Academic credit may be arranged with your college or university.
