ST. LOUIS, MO — Today, NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri PAC announced its endorsement of Kelli Dunaway for St. Louis County Council for District 2.
“As anti-choice lawmakers in the state house continue to push access to basic healthcare out of reach in Missouri, it’s more important than ever that we have local champions who are committed to protecting a full range of reproductive healthcare options, including legal abortion,” said NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri PAC Board Chair Christine Shore-Fitzgerald. “We look forward to working with Kelli Dunaway to ensure reproductive freedom for all across the state.”
“I’m very proud to have the endorsement of NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri PAC for my candidacy for St. Louis County Council,” said Kelli Dunaway. “As a fierce advocate for choice, I am dedicated to protecting every person’s essential freedom to make personal decisions about their own health and family. I look forward to working with NARAL to expand the full scope of reproductive healthcare options, including access to paid parental leave, comprehensive benefits for county employees, and early childcare for working families.”
Dunaway is the Director of Learning & Development at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP. In 2008, Dunaway worked on President Barack Obama’s primary campaign as a field organizer, before being elected as a delegate to the California Democratic Party. Kelli is a founding director of the St. Louis Chapter of the New Leaders Council, a non-profit organization that works to recruit, train, and promote young progressive leaders.
