Two Pro-Choice Candidates Earn Endorsement from Missouri’s Leading Pro-Choice Advocacy Group

NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri today announced its endorsement of two pro-choice fighters for the Missouri General Assembly. The endorsements include: Charlie Norr for SD 30 and Wes Rogers for HD 18. NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri has built momentum and served as an early force in races across Missouri, up and down the ballot.

“Seven in 10 Americans believe in a woman’s right to choose no matter their zip code,” said Alison Dreith, Executive Director of NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri. “We’re proud to endorse two more men for choice who will stand up for reproductive freedom in the state legislature.”

“If you can’t control when you have children, you can’t control anything in your life. As a Missouri State Senator, I will work to ensure that women, regardless of economic circumstance, have access to affordable health care and that women have the power to make decisions about their own reproductive health,” said Charlie Norr, candidate for Missouri State Senate, District 30.

“I am proud to announce my endorsement by NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri,” said Wes Rogers, candidate for Missouri State House District 18. “Access to health care is a basic human right and should include access to quality reproductive health care. I believe in an individual’s right to make her own health care decisions, and I trust women to make the right choices for their health, life, and family. In the legislature, I will be strong advocate for women’s reproductive rights and will defend access to safe abortion and contraception.
